Modify the classpath to run Java on the command line

If you’re getting the NoClassDefFoundError when you try to run your Java program, there are two ways to solve this.

1.  Specify the classpath as your current directory each time you run your program by typing:

java -classpath . [program name]

or

2. Modify the environment variable for classpath  and append ‘.’ to the end:
