First Attempt at Long Exposure Photography

These photos were taken in shutter priority mode on my Casio Exilim EX-FH100. A shutter speed of 5 seconds was used to capture the St. Louis Cathedral with the streaks of light underneath. The photo on the right was slightly overexposed in order to brighten up the sky and the river, i.e. a shutter speed of 5 seconds as opposed to 4.

  1. Great pictures, Andre. And good blog post for broad audience of people who are trying to upgrade their tech skills with the camera. (I’m probably not quite in that audience yet, as I’m not ready to learn about all the bells and whistles on my little camera, but it think there is a good audience for it. Hopefully you’ll get some technical feedback.) Gary
