The Cars and Coffee schedule is the third Saturday of every month. It’s usually held at the Morning Call Coffee Stand — “the most famous coffee drinking place” that’s been around for over 140 years. The location simply couldn’t be any better. As far as I know, It’s been a while since there’s been an event mainly due to bad weather. This past weekend, however, the weather was beautiful — the sun was out, the skies were clear, and the temperature was in the 60s.
I usually don’t go to car meets mainly because I’m kind of an introvert, but my brother encouraged me to go. I’m glad I did, it was a great way to start the day. The turnout was rather small, but there were just enough cars there to keep us occupied.
So that’s a little bit of the story. I’m looking forward to attending more events and giving you a glimpse of the New Orleans car culture. Enjoy our collection of photos from my first Cars and Coffee. Feel free to share this post if you were there or see some of your friends’ cars.
